About The Artists:

Ed Reinhart

Ed Reinhart, alias Earl Dixon, has been "boogying" his way around Mendocino County for over three decades. He has been calling himself "Rico Suave" since his last trip to Ecuador. Reinhart is best known as the King of Boogie-Woogie and Blues and in the presence of Mr. Boogie, no one is left not tapping their feet. In the year’s since Covid, Ed has managed to keep his hand in playing at the occasional solo gig and spending much of his last three year’s collaborating with his musical colleague vocalist Dawn Sentfen in their duet group ‘Between Engagements.’

His CD, ”Got Some on My Fingers," released in the mid 90s and featured tunes he crafted, was a regional hit with all of his fans and established him as a musical force locally. Reinhart has been the front man for many local boogie/R&B bands including the "Burning Sensations." He performed in three productions with Spencer Brewer in "Please don't Shoot the Piano Player", "Dueling Pianos" and “Drooling Pianos.”

Spencer Brewer

Spencer Brewer is, at heart, a storyteller—whether through the keys of a grand piano or the unexpected objects he transforms into assemblage art. As a composer, pianist, recording artist and producer, his 15 albums include the #1 releases The Piper’s Rhythm and Dorian’s Legacy, Torches on the Lake with Paul McCandless, and his internationally acclaimed 2023 release, Behind the Veil.

His music has appeared in Home Alone 2, Sex and the City, The Oprah Winfrey Show, NPR, CNN, Olympic broadcasts, and hundreds of television programs and films worldwide. Along the way, he also restored, tuned, bought, sold and worked on more than 20,000 pianos—which may explain why their discarded parts eventually found their way into his art.

Today, Spencer and his wife, artist Esther Siegel, create one-of-a-kind assemblage sculptures at their Northern California studio and co-authored the eight-time national award-winning book Lost and Found – Assemblage Artists of Northern California. Whether working with notes or objects, Spencer brings unlikely pieces together, discovers the story hiding between them—and makes them sing.

Ross Wylde

Ross is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter and Redwood Valley local. They have released two solo albums, streaming on all platforms. Ross is also half of the folk duo Murphy Wylde, along with their partner, Liam. Together, they have garnered attention online and performed at Live Oak Music Festival, Oregon Country Fair, and High Sierra Music Festival, among others.

At 27 years-old, Ross is an old soul who draws inspiration from Bob Dylan, Judee Sill, Nick Drake, Elliott Smith, and other folk pioneers. Ross will be performing a mixture of improvisation, original music, and possibly some Elton John tunes here and there.
